Michael and JUNÆ met in New York sometime around 2016. They immediately bonded over a keen interest in the noise music of Hijokaidan, Boredoms, Merzbow as well as fluxus works by Takehisa Kosugi, Group Ongaku, and the influential British collective AMM. Michael and JUNÆ (Tristan) envision music as a borderless artform: often embracing the endless permutations of mixing free improv with avant-garde composition and krautrock.
